Has anyone else used a Mac machine and had random withdraws after that?

First off I used a MAC machine at 7/11 which I later read on yahoo news was hacked. I got a new card and I thought it would stop after that. It did for a short time but I am having random withdraws in large amounts from that same MAC machine and I have never used this new card in it. Is it possible that whoever hacked it now has my ssn number so they can keep tracking my card?

There are people who simply sit in parking lots with a laptop and scanners to steal debit and credit card information to sell to crooks.

NEVER EVER use an ATM that is not from your bank or another bank. Those privately owned ones will always get you in trouble. Many times the store owner owns the machine and will not pay for a secure dedicated phone line to tie in with the system.

If your cards, bills or identification have been misused to open new accounts in your name, file a
complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. Call toll-free
1-877-ID-THEFT (1-877-438-4338);
TDD: 202-326-2502, or visit
www.consumer.gov/idtheft

Also I would close the existing account and even go to a different bank or credit union.

Hope this helps answer your question.

i want to know about the comuterised machine used in driving schools to learn driving before actually driving?

My friend wants to buy this machine. I dont know anything about this machine. He explained this as a computer controlled stationary car set up, where we can practice the feel of driving. Can any one help with this. Where to buy this and how much does it cost. Thanks

I wouldn’t recommend it. Unless he has tried taking driving lessons and the instructor said he needs it, it is probably a waste of money. You learn driving on the streets, not on a computer.

How much would a Karaoke machine USED sell for?

How much would a Karaoke machine USED sell for?
Its fully functional, but is missing the microphone holders.

Estimated price please?

That’s like asking "what would a used car sell for?". Nobody can come close to answering your question without knowing the make, model, and age of the machine.

Has anyone used a TENS machine before a water birth?

I am 38 weeks and planning to have a water birth in a birthing centre, i would like to use gas and air but i’ve also got a TENS machine to possibly use before entering the birthing pool. What are your experiences of using a TENS machine or having a water birth? Would you recommend it?
I’m not planning to use the TENS in the water, just for contractions beforehand whilst i’m out of the water. I’m planning to use the water as pain relief as well as gas and air.

I used a TENS for the first stages of labour with my daughter and didnt think it was good, but i know of people who thought it was great! its worth a try!!

What is a sonogram machine used for?

what does a sonogram machine do?
And what occupations use these machines?

It’s an ultrasound scanner.

It works by sending out a wave of very high frequency sound waves into the body. The sound waves are reflected back from boudaries between fluid and solid matter, where the physics of sound waves affects how the wave travels. The ‘echo’ is detected by the scanner and displayed graphically on a screen.

Used by radiographers in the UK and ultrasonographers / sonographers in the US.

Is the rowing machine used for strength training or weight loss?

Is the rowing machine used for strength training + muscle building … or for cardiovascular execise + weight loss?

Both my friend. If you do low reps (15 & under) and heavy weight, then you will be more of a muscluar physique… If you use light weight and Higher reps (20+), you will get more a a fitness physique which means fat loss and sex appeal.

How can I start a vending machine business. Where do I buy the machine used?

Where do I put the machine? Do I need a license? Or anything else I should know! What is the minimum start up? Thanks

Coco,

The vending business is no longer offerring past benefits.

1) The machines are increasingly expensive….

2) You are forced to pay increasing percentages of income with the site owner.

3) You need a full time mechanic to keep your machines operating. This is expensive.

4) Gasoline prices have risen to make it cost prohibitive to effectively maintain working machines accross a given geographic region.

5) The IRS has long since cracked down on the free income generated from business operations.

6) Go to any business brokers and you will be handed lists of vending machine businesses for sale. HINT- no one sells profitable businesses.

You will be going against the odds in this line of business.

Did the Germans ever used machine guns with a horizontal cartridge in WWII?

machine guns horizontal cartridge
I mean the compartment where the bullets are is perpendicular to both the shaft and the trigger, so when you hold it your hands are perpendicular to each other.

I believe what you are talking about is a weapon similar to the Sten gun where the magazine comes out from the side of the weapon instead of underneath like most sub machine guns.

If that is what you are talking about I know of no German weapons where this happens. I stand to be corrected as German arms are not my speciality.

At school we used a machine called i think an EDL for reading is this the correct name?

When in primary school in the 70s we used a machine called i think an EDL machine that helped you learn to read faster is this the correct name and are these machines still available

I don’t recall using any machines to help in reading in the 70s. That said I don’t think the machine would still be around. I believe all along we have used flash cards to help the weaker students to learn to read and remember faster.

Can an old ipod be used as an external hard drive for time machine?

It disc drive mode is enabled, and the entire memory is devoted to the hard disc space, can an ipod be used for time machine?

Also, is 30g enough memory?

YES! All you need to do is when you plug in your iPod to your comp. and open iTunes click on your iPod tab on the side and Make sure when that opens you’re under the "Summery" tab (to chack view top).
Then at the bottom check of the last option which should say something like data disk.

Then apply that and click yes to the warning but take notice of it.

If you have Vista or a dell/whatever non macintosh computer you may have to take out you iPod then plug it back in for this next step.

Open your computer (Possibly called "My Computer") location and click on the iPod when it comes up. It may be listed as Drive E F or something else.

Now click on "notes" which might be right there when you click on your iPod. If not search around for it which shouldn’t take too long, it’ll be right inside the next folder if at all in one.
I don’t have my ‘pod right here so I’m sure.

Then you can put anything there you want to. Up to however much space is on your iPod. Just remember that when you take out your iPod you MUST click the eject button or your data will be lost/corrupt.

30 gigs is fine, unless you have to move huge amounts of data which you can do in multiple trips if needed:)

Oh, and for the guy saying you can’t put more than 7 gigs on it, you just need to change your data settings that limit your data storage.
