Can any sewing machine use a zipper foot?

I would like to use a zipper foot with the Tiny Taylor Singer sewing machine but do not know if one is made for it or if I can get another brand.

This is my first time ever using a sewing machine and I want to try sewing a zipper onto some fabric.

Can you return your Tiny Tailor and get a real sewing machine? They’re about as frustrating as it comes, and I hate to see newcomers to sewing reduced to tears by a malfunctioning machine. And no, I don’t know if there’s a zipper foot for it.

Can you borrow a machine from someone? Even an old straight-stitch only machine will do nicely — if they’ve lost the zipper foot, you can pick up a generic zipper foot in most fabric stores for a few bucks. No, you do not need a needle that moves right or left to install a zipper.

A couple of helps:

Here’s how to do it by hand (ignore the beads)

How do you connect a small sink to existing pipes to a washing machine and continue to use the machine?

I would like to connect a small sink next to my washing machine but use the existing connections and drain that the washing machine uses but I’d also like to continue to use the washing machine at the same time.

Do you mean a slop sink? Is it installed to the side of the washer?

There are probably a few ways to do it but i cant see your scenario. One way is to install T’s on the supply lines and the drain line for the washer. Then connect your new valves and trap for the sinkl to the new T’s you’ve just installed.

Does anyone have a bread machine recipe which uses Lipton Onion soup mix?

My first bread machine’s recipe book had a recipe for bread which used a package of Lipton Onion soup mix and cottage cheese, among other ingredients. I no longer have this recipe book and am wondering if anyone can give me this recipe?

I have checked Lipton’s website and they don’t have anything like what you are describing. (It sounds good and I love making bread!) I would try contacting the manufacturer of your bread machine to see if they can find it for you. Good luck!

What is the best buy for a heat transfer machine that uses compression to open and close?

I want to print t-shirts but need a heat transfer machine that does not require me to use a lot of force to open or to close it.

You probably want something that is foot operated… but those tend to be high end (i.e., expensive)

Every time someone uses a cancelled credit card to buy parking tickets from a machine is the company notified?

whenever i go to downtown vancouver homeless people are trying to sell me parking tickets they buy from automated machines using stolen (then cancelled) cards. are the card companies able to track these transactions once a card is cancelled? can the police catch these people?

It’s difficult to catch a specific person using a credit card at a machine unless there are video cameras. Even then, it’s so little money, it’s probably not worth the credit card company’s time.

Where can I get an answering machine that uses mini-cassettes and records the date/time of each call?

I need an answering machine with those features. I want one that uses cassettes because you can always take the cassette out and keep it if there is important info that you have to save it for future references. I do not want a digital answering machine because you cannot put in new digital chips and take the old ones out to keep for reference. I also need an answering machine that records the date and time of each call.

Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

I’m worried they hare obsolete. What you can do is to get a digital recorder. Play the messages then record them.

Do I want a karaoke machine that uses disks chips or a hard drive?

Getting our first machine.

Want to get a nice one so we will not have to replace it.

Not interested in cordless … cords are more reliable.

Love the machines that have the 3-D anime dancers ;-)
i found this looks heavy duty

Could someone please recommend a good answering machine that uses mini cassettes?

I’m looking for an answering machine that uses mini-cassettes and records the date and time of a call. What would you recommend?

These are gone, years now. All recording machines use solid state memory. All of them record date and time and you don’t have to worry about tapes either.
