Ronald Mallett’s time machine idea?

I have two questions in the one

1Q. You know the way Ronald Mallett’s time traveling machine idea well would that work similar to a teleporter like people say when / If scientists ever create a teleporter the person that goes through won’t be the same person when he/she comes out it would just be a copy of the person with all the same memories

2Q Dose anyone know exactly how Ronald Mallett’s time machine work is it just some sortof laser I have no idea really at all.

His time machine is based on the idea that a strong gravitational
field can affect spacetime, and that by the process of "frame
dragging", one could theoretically travel through time if one takes
the right path. In Mallett’s case, he also takes advantage of the
fact that light itself can generate a gravitational field. By using an
intense ring shaped laser, he hopes to generate a one dimesional
line of intense gravity that would include ‘closed timelike curves’,
that is, paths through his laser beam in which time curves back on itself. This would theoretically allow travel into the past.
There are many problems with Mallet’s ideas, including the fact that
no laser could generate enough gravity to warp spacetime. It would
be much simpler to take advantage of the frame dragging that occurs
near a large massive spinning object, like a Tippler Cylinder, or even
a star. Other researchers have found problems with Mallett’s basic
assumptions.
None of these frame-dragging based time machines would involve
teleportation. However there is a time travel device based on using
a worm hole that would be similar to our traditional sci-fi idea of a
transporter. If you somehow open up a worm hole and are able to
keep it open long enough to pass through it, you could theoretically
travel to some other distant point in space and drag the mouth of the
worm hole with you back to the starting point. Now, by repeatedly
entering the worm hole, coming back out, and re-entering it you are
moving back in time further and further with each transit. This type of
device would allow either time travel, or instantaneous teleportation
across space, without haveing to copy or destroy the original each time through.

For a more detailed description of these devices, you might check out a book by Kip Thorn: "Black Holes and Time Warps: Einsteins
Outrageous Legacy", among others he has written. Thorn was an
associate of Archibald Wheeler, one of the greats of theoretical
physics.

What Is a rowing machine a better idea then a simple home gym?

Can a rowing machine help me build a nice physic (I’m skinny), if I eat lots and row? I’ve always wanted a nice rowing machine?Legs, Arms, Chest , Back? If yes, any recomendations for high end machine?

The Concept2 machines are the probably the best rowing machines on the market, the latest models will probably set you back quite a bit but feature optional accessories such as log cards which can be set up with a computer to track your times and fitness and are really comfortable to use (I speak from experience! :D)

Arms, legs, chest, back, abs - even your mind. Your whole body gets a complete workout from the efficient, rhythmic motion of rowing. Rowing is such a great exercise in so many different ways.

- Low-impact (easy on the knees and ankles)
- High calorie burner (because it uses so many muscle groups)
- Great for joint health (joints move through a wide range of motion)
- Upper body (completes the stroke)
- Lower body (the legs initiate the drive)
- Works the back and abs too
- Superb aerobic fitness (great for cardiovascular fitness)
- Relieves stress (for overall health and well-being)

I have an idea about a new workout machine, who do I talk to about my innovation?

I have an idea about a new workout machine. It will help people. I dont want to give my idea away. But i need to find a company or someone to help me with my idea. Who can I trust and talk to about mass marketing?
lol no. The machine will help do a workout without causing wrist strain or use of wrist. So its a great idea that will help Old people, people with carpal tunnel and general wrist soreness or ache. So it should be good

First and foremost you need to get your idea patented. With a patent, nobody will be able to legally steal your idea, which would open up the people you could talk to about it. Hurry and get a patent before anybody else comes up with it! Good luck!

What is your best idea for a custom gaming machine on a budget?

Sorry I dont have a set budget and should have been more clear. I am a novice at this and have pieced together a few just looking for ideas for a fresh build?? What works well together? Would like to keep it in the $1500.00 range.

get a playstation 3.Use the pc for working and keep your games separate.

The reason I’m saying that: to have a pc ready to run the latest games, you need prime hardware and you need an engineering degree to replace hardware frequently, :)

i have a McCormick deering No.7 mowing machine in my barn any idea what is it’s worth?

i remember seeing it working 25 years ago then parked in what is now my barn. Just wondered if it has any value. thankyou

I think for the most part, anyone looking for one is looking for decoration purposes. They surely wouldn’t be thinking to use the horse drawn mower, then again fuel is going way up. Here is a good site to check with http://www.whatsitworthtoyou.com/

Hope this was helpful :-)

I have an idea to make Double Barrel machine gun but i wonder if this double barrel would heat each others?

i havnt put it 2 test yet i dont have the ability or the equipments but i want to no wat do u think i should put in my consideration if i went on with the design or am i askin in the wrong category

The first "machine gun", the gatling, had 8-12 barrels.

The very high speed machine guns used today have multiple barrels, so this is hardly an original idea. The problem with machine guns is the barrel heating. One solution is multiples barrels, so the heat is spread over many barrels. Another problem is wear on the barrel, and again, multiple barrels helps that problem.

ALBERT M ..i have the top off now cannott find the plastic thing on washing machine any idea’s what its like ?

Plastic thing??!! loads of them in a washing machine.

Is there still water in the drum? If so it will have to complete the cycle, if it has not done so it could be that the filter is blocked or the pump has an obstruction. I dont know your machine in detail but our AEG has a cover at the bottom which exposes the pump and filter, which can be removed and cleaned, also a little button which is an emergency door release. You may have to drain it manually via the filter first. Look in your handbook or on-line for instructions.
