I have an idea about a new workout machine, who do I talk to about my innovation?

I have an idea about a new workout machine. It will help people. I dont want to give my idea away. But i need to find a company or someone to help me with my idea. Who can I trust and talk to about mass marketing?
lol no. The machine will help do a workout without causing wrist strain or use of wrist. So its a great idea that will help Old people, people with carpal tunnel and general wrist soreness or ache. So it should be good

First and foremost you need to get your idea patented. With a patent, nobody will be able to legally steal your idea, which would open up the people you could talk to about it. Hurry and get a patent before anybody else comes up with it! Good luck!

What types of gadgets and machinery objects do mechanical engineers focus on the most?

There are many types of gadgets and machinery stuff made by mechanical engineers. But what kinds are the most focus on and most popular?

Mechanical engineering is a very broad topic. You can work on things from weaponry to air-conditioning and heating. It is very hard to determine exactly what the most popular branch of mechanical engineering is because mechanical engineers can branch out to almost any field and do almost anything that is related to engineering. For example a mechanical engineer has background in thermodynamics, statics, dynamics, and fluid mechanics so a mechanical engineer can go into almost any engineering field knowing at least a little bit of background.

Which machine is used to stop the pain after abdominal surgeries?

I heard about a machine that makes pressure… or something like that, used to release the pain after surgeries on the abs. For example… after a cesarean?

I just wanna find out the name of it.

What is your best idea for a custom gaming machine on a budget?

Sorry I dont have a set budget and should have been more clear. I am a novice at this and have pieced together a few just looking for ideas for a fresh build?? What works well together? Would like to keep it in the $1500.00 range.

get a playstation 3.Use the pc for working and keep your games separate.

The reason I’m saying that: to have a pc ready to run the latest games, you need prime hardware and you need an engineering degree to replace hardware frequently, :)

I have four year degree, don’t like my career, what should I do?

I have a Bachelor Degree in Industrial Design. I currently make $45K per year in U.S.A Portland Oregon. I want to make more, designers use computers most of the time, my eye sight is getting very blurry because I use a computer 7-8 hours a day, even with lots of breaks at work. I want to change careers so I can avoid sitting in a chair most of the day and want to make twice my current salary within a year or two. My back also hurts with extensive sitting due to past car accidents, but I am 26 and pretty healthy and somewhat athletic so I am not handycapped. What is a good career that only requires under a year of training / certification? I also want a career that is not susceptible to outsourcing (example: car mechanic, family doctor). Design and engineering jobs are getting payed less in the states because the salaries need to compete with outsorced positions overseas. That is another reason I want to dump design and look for something else. I am social and I like cars.

RC Drilling go get a job start as a offsider you will love it

I love to design and keep thinking about Industrial Design?

I have a Masters in Engineering and have been a successful product design engineer. I went to Design School to study in an Industrial Design Masters program but found it too demanding to balance family (married with children) and being an older student. So, I finished one year of the two year program. I have found it extremely difficult to break into the Industrial Design profession even though I have a Mechanical Engineering bachelors degree, a Master in Manufacturing and studied Design at RISD for a year. I also have applied to teach ID. I feel that their is some bias by some designers against engineering. I know that I have run into bias by a design consultancy (Fitch) against large corporation past employees in the past. I would really like to work at a company like IDEO or Design Continuum, or a design school that is highly creative. Also, I am in my forties and wonder if age may be a problem with getting an ID dream job. It appears that Industrial design is very youth oriented (correct me if you disagree.) Can anyone give me their perspective of wether its worth pursuing at my age and how best to pursue this goal???

Hi from France ♫

Go for what you love Miss !… I have been at Art School when I was 38 and I never regretted it ( I’m 48 now)…Anyway I don’t have kids and I’m not married .. But all the same, go for what you love !

Have a great day,

Cat.

what is the cost of machinery used for recycling of plastic?

It depends on how much plastic you want to recycle, what type(s) of plastic, and what kind of final product you want. If you are looking for something medium size, I would ball park some where in the six figures, seven figures would not surprise me (I know that is a large range, but your question is missing some detail.)

Large machines like this are custom built to fit the needs of the customer. You will need to contact a manufacture for a better estimate; a quick Google search found: http://www.ledarecycling.it/

If you are interested in small volume, it would be cheaper to work something out with a local plastic recycling company.

What is the best buy for a heat transfer machine that uses compression to open and close?

I want to print t-shirts but need a heat transfer machine that does not require me to use a lot of force to open or to close it.

You probably want something that is foot operated… but those tend to be high end (i.e., expensive)
