how to get a electrical engineer or industrial job at Boeing?
I am an international student studying at a U.S. university. I am completeing my electrical engineering and planning on taking a minor in Industrial designing. I would like to know, if they hire F1 female students for internship or full time position in Boeing and what is the minimum GPA required to even get noticed? and what are they kind of questions they ask for interview?

Boeing interviews are very structured. They ask you to describe previous experiences, where you describe the problem, the solution, and what the end result was. They do NOT like answers that do not fit this format. It is not a casual interview at all. I would have to honestly say they are the worst interviews I’ve ever been part of.
GPA is important but not horribly important. Engineers are known for comparatively low GPA’s, so I think as long as you are a 3.0 or better you should be fine. (I actually had a 2.91.)
And yes, Boeing has an incredibly diverse workforce that includes people of all nationalities and backgrounds. You might consider an internship for this summer if any are still available.
Go to jobs.boeing.com to look for both internships and paid work. There are a lot of opportunities with the 787 program, if that’s a possibility for you.

this is for those that have sleep apnea. How do you get used to the cpap machine?
I am having a sleep apnea test done soon and may have to use the machine. I had the sleep apnea long time ago but I couldn’t get used to the machine so I sent it back.
Sleep apnea machines and masks have come along way in the last 2 years. 1st make sure that the home care co. that is setting up the equipment will work with you, if they aren’t willing to, go to another company! You are the customer and they CAN get you comfortable with something. There are so many different masks & nasal pillows available, not to mention what they are doing with the machines now! Puritan Bennett has a machine that is about the size of the 1st personnal CD players they came out with in the 80’s, and Respironics has machines that work with your breathing pattern!(check out their web sites)
This is something you need to be pro-active about. Lack of sleep does so many bad things to your body- poor memory, weight gain, depression, etc. Not to mention what the lack of oxygen in your body when you don’t breath at night does to your brain and heart.

I am looking for the instruction manual for an old sewing machine Jones D66, any idea where I’d find one?
An old electric sewing machine in working order, Jones Model D66, has lost it’s instruction manual. I would like to find one so that I can use the machine.

Trying to locate a picture of agricultural machinery used in paddi fields in Sri Lanka?
They have 4 wheels and are used for transportation aswell (with trailers), they are operated by a handle similar to a hover mower. Would be grateful to know a manufacturer.
I know that Kubota makes such machines. Suzuki makes them as well. See the link.
